How to write a review on Amazon
Sandy tells me there is a bit of a hurdle to jump over before Amazon will promote any new book. What is required is for at least ten people to buy a copy and then write a review, log into the account they bought the book from and place the review on Amazon. Amazon measures the potential success of a book by the number of sales and especially reviews. Once ten people write a review, Amazon will automatically start promoting the book and sales will go viral. As Amazon promotes it, more people buy it and then Amazon promotes it even more ... etc. etc. The more reviews the book gets the more Amazon will promote it.
So if you buy any of my books it would be very helpful if you also wrote a review in your Amazon account. Don't just email them to me. That is nice but it is not what Amazon needs. They need you to put it into the Amazon website in the Amazon account from which you bought the book.

It is important that you buy the book and write the review on the same Amazon account. Amazon favours your review only if you purchased the book.
First go to Amazon and log into your account. (If you dont have one click here.)
Then find the book you want to write a review on.
Click on the book you want to order:
Pancakes and Coffee Breaks
Lox and bagels for Brunch
The Coffe Cup Philosopher
A Family Quartet
Written Review
Once you are logged in to your Amazon account and on the page for the correct book, scroll way down the page until you come to this image.
(It wont look exactly like this but pretty close.)
Then click on "Write a customer review" at the bottom and type in your review.
Video Review
Also, if you want to do even more, make a short video (1 to 1 minutes) on your cell phone and upload it on your Amazon account page where you bought the book.
Just tell future prospects why you liked the book and a bit about your favorite poem.
You have to scroll down the page a bit till you find the section that looks like this.
Then just click the button and upload your short video.
Dont forget to buy the book and write the review from your Amazon account.

at only:
$10 for the paperback and
$3 for the Kindle version to start
with to encourage everyone to read it and write a review.

you a cup of coffee and sign your book the next time we get together. Writing a review is very, very helpful to me because Amazon will promote a book depending on how may people buy it and how many people write a review.
It does not matter if you buy the paper back or the Kindel version.
There is also a program called Amazon Book Club or Kindle Unlimited where you can read Kindle books for free. If you do that, it is perfectly fine. That counts towards people being interested. In any case, it is most important to write a review after you read it and put it on the Amazon website after you log into your account.
